Equal opportunities policy

The nursery operates an equal opportunities policy and pledges not to discriminate in terms of:

  • · Race
  • · Gender
  • · Disability
  • · Culture
  • · Religion
  • · Age

Children are encouraged to participate in all activities, regardless of their gender.

Children will be made aware that different races exist and people come from varying backgrounds.

Children are encouraged to be tolerant of people with disabilities and not to discriminate against them.

The nursery will comply with all policies that have been issued by Social Services and legislation on the Childrens Act 1989.

The above policy, where appropriate, will apply to the appointment of all nursery staff.
